This Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon abounds with intense flavors of boysenberry, dark plum, and blackberry with a smooth silky finish featuring hints of cocoa and touch of caramel. Well balanced with fine tannins, this wine is deep and multi-dimensional. Will play well for 15 -20 years.

While many red blends try to bowl you over with full throttle richness and power, Mordecai wants to excite and charm you as well. It possesses a blend of both red and black fruit characteristics, bramble and spice on a medium plus frame. The warmth of the vintage makes this one juicier than the last, but the structure is still beautifully integrated. It will drink well for a decade.

2010 will likely go down as one of the coolest vintages to date in Sonoma County. The initial aromas have a certain lift and definition highlighted by small wild strawberries, cranberry, and rooibos tea. On the palate one finds Rainier cherries, jasmine, plum, cranberry and again that wild strawberry note floating on a silky structure. It's lines are cut like a Varvatos suit. The bass note is provided by a subtle framing touch of brown baking spice.
